Steep 5-6 teaspoons of herbs (or a combination of herbs) in 2 cups of boiling water for 30 minutes, then strain. Slowly poor warm "tea" over hair and scalp as a final rinse after shampooing. Leave on without rinsing out.
BURDOCK ROOT, ARNICA, & MARIGOLD - help to reduce hair loss
CAMOMILE & CATNIP - promote healthy hair growth
CEDARWOOD, CYPRESS, LEMON, & PATCHOULI - discourages excess oil production
FLAXSEED*, GELATIN, AGAR, IRISH MOSS, & QUINCE - give thin hair more body
HONEY - keeps hair soft and shiny
HORSETAIL - a source of silica which helps keep hair strong
LAVENDER, ROSE, & SANDALWOOD - combats dry hair
NEEM - a powerful disintectant and also cures dandruff
SAGE - excellent for weak hair
STINGING NETTLE, ALOE, BIRCH LEAVES, & WATERCRESS - are excellent skin/scalp cleansers
ROSEMARY - enhances dark hair
