Treating with Castor Oil Packs

Category: Castor Oil Exposé

I recently shared with you how to make a castor oil pack. It is a wonderful discovery for me. I hear of it being used more and more which is exciting! Some over-the-counter anti-inflamatories available are quite hard on the body and may not promote healing of the area affected. Additionally, castor oil is seemingly unending in its healing properties.

Castor Oil packs are recommended for ridding the body of hardened mucus in the form of cysts, tumors and polyps. The castor oil is applied over the liver, serving to detoxify the body. This is repeated daily for three days.

The reason this treatment is so effective is that the castor oil goes through the skin into the liver area and lymph glands and starts drawing and flushing out toxins. Our liver produces one third to one half of the lymphatic fluid in our bodies and needs to be kept in good shape. The lymphatic system is one of the major channels for absorption from the gastrointestinal tract; its main function being the absorption of fats. The castor oil must be cold processed and hexane free.

As an external oil pack, it has been used to treat a variety of health conditions such as arthritis, liver and intestinal disorders, tumors, cysts, and skin conditions.

For acute situations, use for 30 minutes nightly for five nights, take two nights off, then repeat the cycle for two weeks or until the condition is resolved.

In either case, individual response will differ depending on the symptoms that are being treated, please consult with your health care provider.

Taken internally, castor oil is a strong cathartic.

Wart Removal

Well, in deed, necessity is the mother of invention! Yes, and another cliché that works well here is many discoveries happen by accident.

So, where am I going with this??
To remedy the horror of living with warts!

When I was in my early teens I had two warts on one hand. I hated them! The only solution back then was Compound-W. Horrible smelling stuff and messy, however, it did get rid of my warts, finally.

I wish I knew then what I discovered, by accident, this year. My 10-year old daughter has some warts on her hand and one on her knee. I dreaded the thought of buying Compound-W for her little hands but did not know what else to do. While I was deliberating, over several weeks, she was using Palm'Hydra Mask as a night cream to control her eczema. One day I noticed the warts on her hand were gone! What? How?

It seems the French green clay (which detoxifies) and the Palma Christi castor oil (both ingredients in the cream) dissolved her warts in a matter of weeks! To test the theory, we began applying Palm'Hydra Mask to the wart on her knee.

WOW! In a few weeks it disappeared too! What a cool little discovery!

I did some hunting and found references to similar treatments in the writings of Edgar Cayce (naturopath known for his modern uses of castor oil therapies):

Use for warts and moles
In the majority of cases castor oil was recommended to be used in a great variety of external uses: A mixture of castor oil and baking soda applied on callouses on the feet, moles, ingrown toenails and warts.

"Apply a paste of baking soda with Castor Oil. Mix together and apply of evenings. Just the proportions so it makes almost a GUM; not as dough but more as gum, see? A pinch between the fingers with three to four drops in the palm of the hand, and this worked together and then placed on - bound on. It may make for irritation after the second or third application, but leave it off for one evening and then apply the next - and it will be disappearing!" [Reading #1179-4]

Castor oil was also recommended to be massaged on callouses, cancer (skin and breast), cysts, bunions, moles, tumors and warts.
