Infant Colic Relief with Castor Oil

Category: Healing Touch
Posted: 2008-08-28 22:11

Well, two of my four daughters had colic. Sure wish I had known about this remedy then!

Please share the following with mother's you know ... for their sanity and baby's comfort.

Castor oil has been known for thousands of years as a powerful botanical anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. The beauty is that it is a topical treatment. The healing properties are attributed to it's unique 87% composition of ricineolic acid - not found elsewhere. The plant is indigenous to India and area. Look for castor oil from this part of the world for the best quality.

This remedy is good if your infant's belly is tight and bloated and/or gas is being passed. Castor oil is a well-known and powerful purgative for the bowels. Warmed and massaged into an infant's belly, however, castor oil is comforting and effective for relieving colic and expelling intestinal gas.

Garlic Does a Body Good!

Category: Food & Your Health

Amazingly, garlic is found in the cooking of most cultures on our little blue planet.

Used medicinally for thousands of years, just 1 fresh garlic clove a day can lower “bad” cholesterol levels up to 15% while raising “good” cholesterol levels by 23%!!

Researchers in Germany found that garlic lowers blood pressure and it also holds potent blood thinning properties.

Garlic is a powerful antibiotic with proven action against over 60 infectious diseases. It is also effective against viruses and fungi from the common cold, the flu, yeast infections, and herpes.

GULP! Garlic is best eaten in raw form. As with many nutrients found in foods, heat can destroy it's enzymes and reduce it's medicinal power.

Convenient, effective, yet oderless alternatives to raw garlic include capsules, tablets and aged extracts. Look for Kyolic where you find natural products in your neighbourhood.
